149 - what's in a podcast?

Still messing around with the podcast logo. Trying to get the look down for The Next Element Podcast, it's got to be somewhat stylish. Tried some orange, tried some blue. I personally like the orange one.

Today was a very note worthy day for the podcast. Colin and I had everything set up. Went over the list of things we wanted to cover and then went at it with some gusto. And as life is cruel some times we ended up with absolutely nothing to show after a great hour long discussion. So we have joined the ranks of some of the greatest podcasters out there knowing that we had a great discussion and it was lost to the ether.

So now we have to re-do the first podcast so we can get something up at thenextelementpodcast.podbean.com  
besides our 2nd test pod. Ah life she is a work in progress.

139 - What's your vote for?

A very simplified idea for the banner contest over at democratikcomics  My idea was to kinda show an image in process so you get that wip(work in process) feel, so pencils blue and regular, inks, and then the text done digitally. It seems a bit more disjointed than I had it in my head, but I think it kinda works.

137 - a little logo and screw you SOPA

Just a little piece of a logo I am finally finishing up for a friend from work. I think it is actually turning out better than I originally thought it would. Maybe I am learning a bit as I go.

Tomorrow is the anti-internets day for everyone to protest SOPA. Certain websites are actually shutting down for the day in protest and I thought I would try to do my own little part. Not posting here would not be much to notice so I am going to try and spend all day tomorrow without accessing the internet at all unless required to at work. Other than that, I'm going dark. No Facebook, no Twitter, no PencilJack, no Ants. Oh my god what am I going to do! Oh, hey...look..a book...

120 - and the sign points to....

Getting a bit more work done. Sent off a copy of renditions of this here sign to a nice Realtor and her friendly little assistant. Now to just sit back and wait for their response. Oh wait, guess I could be working on my other projects, all  right, back to the cephalobot!

Today is the day people! Drop what your doing and get yourselves on over to Brewforia on the corner of Eagle and Overland for the first ever Simian Brewing Company beer tasting. The Owner and Brewer of Simian Brewing, Marvin Kinney will be there letting people sample his fine potions and concoctions. It's real good stuff people.
