159 - a Diabolical idea...

Working through an idea I've had about what I am calling the Diabolical Daycare. Copyright Anthony Bachman bitches, it's mine. Here are some character roughs I did tonight at Brewforia during our Geeks Who Drink trivia night.

156 - backside round # 1

Still working my way through the Christopher Hart book. Simplified Anatomy for the Comic Book Artist is a great book that I would recommend to anyone that wants to try and work in a more simplified style but maybe doesn't know how to get started. It's a fun read with really good instructions.

I've got some color work to do on some pages and some more sketches that just aren't ready to go up here yet but soon.

155 - BERNARD in all his Copic glory!

Had to take another pass at my Bernard the World Destroyer, by the awesome Skottie Young, sketch that I was totally happy with and see if I could make it even better with some Copic love. The results are above and I dig it! This one is especially cool to me as the wife just got me some new Copics for our 3rd anniversary! I'm a lucky guy. Have a great weekend people!

154 - Bernard! Destroyer of Worlds!

Bernard! My fun time for tonight was pure inspiration from Skottie Young and his great character from the adventures of BERNARD the world destroyer. I finally remembered to drop a whopping $2 into my Paypal account so that I could grab this fine little digital download from Mr. Skottie Young's digital store. The hard copy version is also available at a bargain for $10. Whichever you get you will be rewarded with a fun story and some great drawings including a cool section filled with fan art from some names you just might recognize.

If you have a moment and need some inspiration head over to Skottie's site by clicking his name above, it's guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

And if by any off chance Skottie ever sees this I hope he likes it. He has been a great inspiration for me for a couple of years now and I just love the stuff this guy does. Plus come on, after a long day of world destroying who wouldn't enjoy a turn on a swing. =-)

Took my Leeloo sketch for the PencilJack weekly sketch group and put some color to it. Fun stuff. I keep learning and learning with each thing I color.

151 - Leeloo with the Big BaDa BOOM!

A little Leeloo sketch for the PencilJack weekly sketch group. If you don't have a whole lotta love in your heart for Leeloo and the Fifth Element, than quit talking to me, you are not my friend.

This one turned out nicely. I like it enough I might color it just for fun.
